We are an online shop, which means:
- We are able to offer you lower prices
- You are welcome to browse online and order online 24/7/365
- You (or your courier) can collect your online order, but call immediately before collecting
Pay within 3 days to secure items and pricing. We reserve the right to cancel orders if payment is not received within 3 days; to release products to other customers.
Proof of payment not considered/required.
Goods remain the property of Shop-n-Scrap until paid for in full.
Some bank transfers (eg from Standard Bank) can take up to 3 working days.
Pay as per the payment method you selected during checkout. If you pay by another method, there can be additional charges for your account eg cash deposit attracts a R35.31 minimum charge.
If you are self-collecting, always bring cash as backup. In the event that there are power-cuts or the credit card machine is not working, goods will not be released unless we receive cleared payment in our bank account, or cash.

Always check that the products sent to you are correct before using them. Shop-n-Scrap is not responsible for any personal damages made when using our products.
You have 7 days (from the day the item was delivered) to notify us of an incorrect item sent.
Unfortunately we do sometimes make mistakes when packing orders or some items may be out of stock. This means we may not be able to expedite your items urgently, but we will still ensure you get your money back in the form of credit or a refund.
Processing your order
We usually process orders within 2 working days of receiving your cleared payment, but this can exclude weekends and public holidays.
Do not confuse processing and shipping times. Shipping is performed by couriers and their T&Cs can be viewed on their website.
Tracking info will automatically be emailed to you via the Shipped email. Allow approx. 24hrs for tracking info to show on the courier's website.
If you have not received your Shipped email with tracking number after 3 days of making payment, email us with your enquiry only after the 3rd day.
Postage / Shipping / Collections / Deliveries
You (or your courier) can collect your online order between 11am-5pm but call immediately before collecting to avoid disappointment.
We reserve mornings for the processing of orders and courier collections.
We are not a courier or transport company. We offer various 3rd party postage/shipping options; therefore we cannot be held responsible for 3rd party inefficiencies or losses.

Once you have received tracking details, contact the couriers directly for additional information.
You are responsible to provide us with a valid and correct delivery address when placing your order. Addresses cannot be updated via email or any other means of communication.
Insurance is automatically included from the courier up to R1000 per shipment. Additional insurance is available on request.
We will assist with any claims between you and the courier company. In the event of a claim for damage, the receiver must retain all inner and outer packaging materials as well as the damaged goods. Failure by the receiver to retain the original goods and packaging at the original delivery location or the failure to make the delivered goods available for inspection will invalidate the claim.
We do not support overnight, weekend and public holiday delivery rates. These rates are more expensive, generally unreliable, and we do not recommend them. However, you are welcome to organize these with your own courier (they can collect once we see your cleared payment).
Please plan your order and payment accordingly, and be reasonable with your expectations. eg do not place an order on Thursday afternoon, and expect delivery on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
We generally exceed reasonable service expectations.
